With the unusually cold temps recently, it’s such a joy to sit in my studio and create an eternal garden. I continue to work on this large canvas of peonies. They were stunning blooms, worthy of their own piece of art.

Here is the painting at the underpainting stage - about half done. Everything is there to see but hasn’t quite yet been refined. I’ll take a second, finishing pass on this piece - where all the magic happens!

Can’t wait to finish this one.
